Rules: for our Caged ATV's with Old Guys in Them
 

Defined as:
Totally fabricated racing buggies or stock buggies, with a maximum wheelbase of 76, minimum wheelbase of 64.

  • Rules:
    1.) Suspension: Open, that is to say any combination of shocks, springs etc. Provided they cannot be manipulated or adjusted by the driver or a computer, during a race.
    2.) Tires and Wheels: Any manufactures or after market combination except paddle type is allowed. This class does not have to use DOT approved tires.
    3.) Steering: Any design provided it does not impede the driver from exiting the vehicle. Steering brakes are not allowed, but front to rear adjustable braking systems are allowed.
    4.) Engine, Transmission & Drivelines: Maximum engine displacement of 620cc - 2 Cycle and 1000cc - 4 Stroke. All combinations of transmission and drivelines are allowed provided they do not endanger the driver in any way.
    5.) Chassis: Must protect the driver, along with roll cage, from all sides top and bottom, in case of a collision.
    6.) Body: Must be adequate to protect driver and hazardous engine parts, such as fuel lines from softball size rocks traveling at speed. Wings and other accessories must be well mounted and pose no risk to other racers>
    7.) Minimum safety equipment: Each driver is responsible for using an approved helmet (Just get a decent helmet its your head that your protecting), four point restraint and wrist or arm restraints or have roll cage netting sufficient to keep the drivers arms inside of the machine in the case of a roll over. 
  • 8.)A fire suit is not required but is suggested.  Minimum wear long sleeve and long pants.
    Note:
    These are the rules for this class only all track rules applies whether stated in this rules section or not. Racing is a dangerous sport and serious injury can result from it. Each driver that races accepts this danger and does not hold the other drivers or the track responsible for accidents or injuries

    Stock Class restrictions:
  • Stock suspension travel permitted only
  • Up to 420 cc - 2 cycle 660 4 stroke motor permitted
